I love animals and Quokka is the cutest little thing in this world that I want to see. They are originally from Rottnest Island, Western Australia. Just like kangaroos, quokkas also have pouches for their joeys. They must only eat the leaves from the trees in Rottnest Island. This friendly quokka was begging me to take some leaves for him.

Oh baby I really want to pick you up but I don't want to get fined |
To find friendly quokkas was not that easy actually, most of them are very shy and reserved. Not many wants to get selfie with you LOL...
So, I truly recommend you to join
Quokka Guided Walk. This 45 minute walking tour departs daily from the meeting post at 2:15pm. I did find more friendly quokkas from joining this guided walk.

Curious Quokka |
At first, I thought Rottnest Island only had Quokka as the main attraction. But lo and behold, the island also has beautiful beaches around the island. To get around the island, you can join the
hop on hop off bus. The adult ticket costs 20 AUD and you can easily get it from Visitor Centre.

Walked my way up here |
To get to Rottnest Island : buy your ferry ticket online or on the spot at Fremantle Ferry Wharf. Personally I got my ticket from GetYourGuide app. I chose
Sealink Ferry.
Lunch : I recommend to bring your own. You don't need to wait for long queue and save money too!
Transportation :
Hop on hop off bus for 20 AUD, bikes (you can rent), walks (if you are not tired)
Guided walk :
Quokka Walk
Warning : Do not touch the Quokkas. Do not feed them other than the island's vegetation.
